Iron Age Cookery workshop 10am - 4pm
*MAXIMUM NUMBER FOR THIS WORKSHOP IS 8*
During this workshop there will be an open fire, period accurate ingredients & a selection of replica utensils such as clay pots & iron knives - all copied on archaeological finds.
The menu will include a meat & a vegetarian dish, a dessert chosen by everyone on the day & a selection of delicious creations to be enjoyed around the fire or taken home. There will also be cheese making, handmade butter, fire-baked flatbreads...
There will be time for a Q&A session and/or chat at the end of the day to answer any specific questions you may have about archaeology, Iron Age cooking, etc, all in a relaxed atmosphere.
Please bring a couple of containers to take your creations home.

Refreshments are provided on the day but not lunches. Please bring your own drinking vessel for hygiene reasons.
