IRON AGE SWORD WORKSHOP (10am-4pm)
*MAXIMUM NUMBER FOR THIS WORKSHOP IS 2*
Using the traditional tools of the blacksmith, discover how to forge an Iron Age sword. Guided by professional blacksmith and living historian, Thomas B Timbrell of Heritage Blades, you will forge your very own sword from mild steel on a bellows operated forge. Made in the style of the swords of the time, you will then harden the edges by cold working and then sharpen them using stones and files to produce your very own sword blade.
