Natural Home & Beauty Workshop 28th February 2020 10-4pm
Discover how to make your own natural skincare products and household cleaners, using simple natural ingredients. Enjoy a fun day packed with information and learning, all you need to bring are an open mind and a willing pair of hands. You will learn about the history and chemistry of making natural products, including the important health and safety aspects. Find out about plant based oils, botanicals, waxes and scrubs and how to whisk, stir, and blend them into natural beauty and home products. The workshop is mix of demonstration and hands-on, so you get to make and take home the products you make. There are only 10 places on each course so you’ll have lots of attention and support. Kits and ingredients will be available to take away, to make your own natural products at home or to give as gifts to friends and family.
After completing a Natural Medicine course with Neal’s Yard, your tutor Sue Rodgers has spent 15 years living in the Sierra Nevada, southern Spain, where with her husband she built an off-grid mountain retreat. Sue ran a series of herbal, organic and self-sufficiency courses for 10 years, encouraging people to live greener and more sustainable life-styles and hopes that you will share her enthusiasm for making your own natural products. Sue has now returned to the UK where she is studying for a PhD in Environmental Sciences and continues to pursue her love of a natural lifestyle.
